The real problem at Bio-Sil was hidden under the hood. Years of neglected maintenance had created a website that was slow, confusing, and prone to crashing. Vital product information was buried, and the "franken-post" structure made it nearly impossible for customers to complete a purchase without hitting a technical wall.
The LiveFuse approach was simple: Fix the foundation first.
By merging duplicate data and building a logical new navigation system, we didn't just give Bio-Sil a fresh coat of Sage Green paint—we gave them a reliable business tool that finally works as hard as they do.
What we did:
The original website felt like a "Digital Knot" where finding a specific product was nearly impossible. With 200 plus products and a massive health library, the old navigation was so cluttered that it often caused the site to crash, leaving customers stuck and unable to check out.
Personalised Welcome: We added a friendly "Welcome, Shawn" greeting to the header, instantly making the shop feel like a private, professional health suite rather than a generic storefront.
The Customer Account Hub: The new "User Menu" provides a secure, private space where customers can instantly track their orders or manage their wishlists with a single click.
Intuitive Symbol Logic: We introduced a simple visual language: a + sign indicates the menu will expand with more options, while >> tells the user they are being taken directly to a new page.
Easy Access Cart & Search: We placed the shopping cart and a prominent search bar right at the top, allowing users to skip the menus entirely and find their natural health solutions in seconds.
BUILD LOG: This header is the new front door to a stable business. By removing the old "messy" logic and adding clear road signs, we created a system that is fast, easy to maintain, and ready to grow alongside the brand.

n the old system, finding and buying a specific health solution was a high-friction process. Product information was scattered, and the lack of a clear layout made it difficult for customers to trust the quality or compare items quickly before making a purchase.
>> symbol to indicate a direct action.BUILD LOG: Success in e-commerce is about removing obstacles. By standardising how 200 plus products are presented, we transformed a confusing inventory into an intuitive shopping engine that customers can actually use.
Before the reconstruction, customers often struggled to find the right channel for their specific needs. Whether it was a technical website issue or a product query, the lack of clear direction led to a bottlenecked support system and frustrated users.
Tiered Support Channels: We dismantled the "one-size-fits-all" contact approach and created dedicated silos for Order, Product, and Website enquiries.
Conversational Interface: We integrated a modern, step-by-step contact form that greets the user by name, reducing form-filling anxiety and ensuring data is captured accurately.
Transparent Availability: By clearly displaying office hours and specific contact details for different departments, we set realistic expectations for the "Everyman" user.
Mobile-First Accessibility: The entire contact hub is built on a clean, responsive layout, ensuring customers can reach out easily from any device.
BUILD LOG: A stable digital foundation must include a reliable way for users to get help. By organising the contact logic, we turned a source of friction into a professional point of service.
With a massive inventory of over 240 items, the legacy shop was overwhelming. Products were difficult to filter, and the server often struggled to load the extensive image library, leading to a slow, high-friction experience that discouraged large orders.
Scalable Grid Architecture: We implemented a clean, 4-column grid that maintains its integrity whether the user is viewing 10 products or 200.
Streamlined Conversion: Every item includes an "Add to Cart" shortcut and a "Add to Wishlist" feature directly on the shop floor, allowing repeat customers to bypass individual product pages.
Functional Navigation Aids: We added essential tools like a "Download / Print Catalogue" feature and a simple "Default sorting" filter to help users manage the inventory their way.
Optimised Asset Loading: Despite the high volume of product photography, the page remains lightweight and responsive, ensuring the brand's livelihood isn't hampered by technical slow-downs.
BUILD LOG: This isn't just a list of products; it is a high-performance engine. By cleaning up the database and standardising the UI, we’ve created a shop floor that is as fast as it is functional.
The original directory was a difficult-to-navigate list that made it hard for customers to find local stockists or trusted health practitioners. Without a clear structure or search function, this vital community resource was underutilised and frustrating for those seeking local help.
BUILD LOG: This directory is more than a list; it is a bridge between the digital shop and the physical community. By simplifying the fragmented data, we’ve created a tool that provides genuine value to both the brand and its local partners.
The original directory was a difficult-to-navigate list that made it hard for customers to find local stockists or trusted health practitioners. Without a clear structure or search function, this vital community resource was underutilised and frustrating for those seeking local help.
Zero System Crashes: By cleaning up 21,000 legacy records, we eliminated the database errors that were costing the brand sales.
Mobile-First Success: The new site is fully responsive, allowing customers to shop for natural health solutions easily from their phones.
Reduced Support Load: The organised contact hub and clear navigation have significantly reduced the number of basic customer queries.
Scalable Infrastructure: Bio-Sil now has a digital foundation that can handle their growing inventory of 240 plus products without breaking.
